ID:	2342Knitting Woman is my most recent Golden Kite start. I'm definitely a "serial starter", but I will try to rotate through the various GKs I have so that I'll make progress on them all eventually.

This pattern reminds me of my mom, since she loves to knit, loves cats, and has 3 girls. I'll be giving it to her when I'm finished. I'm stitching it on 22 count Aida in a 2-strand half-stitch. The coverage isn't perfect, but the dimensions of this piece of stash fabric were too good a match for this design to pass up. This is how far I am now, after starting it at the beginning of the month.

Great start, Sarah! It reminds me of my mum, too-she's always been a knitting mum, too!

Great start! The background colors really flow together nicely.

Great start. I think this is a good idea about the half cross stitch- maybe it will only take half as long to complete it!

Thanks everyone! I love this forum - it's so inspiring and encouraging to have a cheerleading section for my stitching.
